There are 8 ending consonant sounds despite having 44 consonants, some letters stay the same sounds both in front and at the end of a word, but most are going to change their sounds to fit into one of these 8 sounds. The chart below will tell you which one belongs to which sound. There will be letters and words that we have not covered the pronunciations just yet. Don't worry about those. We'll come back around to this table again.
